Max Klau
Dr. Max Klau is a consultant, author, speaker and Integral Master Coach based in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his doctorate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2005 with a focus on civic leadership development. He served as the Chief Program Officer at the New Politics Leadership Academy (NPLA) from 2016-2024. NPLA is focused on bringing more servant leaders into politics, and Max designed leadership programs that have graduated more than 2,500 servant leaders to date. Previously, he was the Vice President of Leadership Development at City Year, the education-focused AmeriCorps program. His first book, Race & Social Change: A Quest, A Study, A Call to Action, was published in 2017.
Gary Schoeniger
Gary Schoeniger is an internationally recognized leader in entrepreneurial mindset education and professional development. His work focuses on redefining traditional concepts of entrepreneurship, emphasizing the mindset and behaviors that optimize engagement and unlock human potential.
Gary has been a leading advocate for entrepreneurial mindset education in classrooms, organizations, and communities. His approach aims to democratize entrepreneurship, making it accessible to people from various backgrounds and circumstances. Through research, articles, and thought leadership, he contributes to both academic and practical discussions on entrepreneurship. He challenges traditional paradigms and promotes a more inclusive and accessible approach to entrepreneurship education as a means of individual and collective empowerment.
As the Founder and CEO of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative, Gary led the development of the Ice House Entrepreneurial Mindset Programs, recognized by the United Nations General Assembly, the Papal Council for Peace and Justice at the Vatican, and the European Commission. As a sought-after speaker, Gary has delivered numerous keynotes, workshops, and training programs throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Michael Pirson
Michael Pirson, Ph.D., is the chair of the Leading People and Organizations Area within the Gabelli School of Business. He is the James A. F. Stoner Endowed Chair in Global Sustainability and is a full professor with a focus on global sustainability and social entrepreneurship. Pirson is a research associate at Harvard University’s Human Flourishing Program (HFP). He co-founded the Humanistic Management Network and is founder and president of the International Humanistic Management Association. He is the editor in chief of the Humanistic Management Journal.
Pirson’s research spans various areas in the field of humanistic management, including psychological and social psychological work on individual differences in mindfulness, trust, and well-being; organizational research on corporate governance, stakeholder trust, and social innovation; and conceptual and philosophical research on freedom, dignity, and well-being. He is actively exploring the role of higher education in positive change-making and social innovation, leading global efforts to transform business education (including with the Jesuit Network, Ashoka, UN, etc.).
